The RNA-Seq total allows a global analysis of expressed RNAs, including messenger RNAs, long non-coding RNAs and many other classes of RNA. This approach is particularly suitable for transcriptional regulation studies and the discovery of new transcripts.
- mRNA-Seq
Quantify gene expression and reveal regulatory mechanisms
The mRNA-Seq targets polyadenylated messenger RNA to provide an accurate expression profile of coding genes. It is the reference method for comparative transcriptomic studies, identification of differentially expressed genes and analysis of biological pathways.
- Dual RNA-Seq
Decipher host-pathogen interactions
The dual RNA-seq approach allows us to study the expression of genes from two interacting organisms, by analyzing transcripts, coding and non-coding, of the host and associated partner.
This technology makes it possible to decipher the molecular mechanisms involved in different interspecific relationships such as infection, parasitism, symbiosis or competition. Applicable to many models involving bacterial, fungal or protozoan pathogens in animal or plant hosts, it offers the advantage of analyzing several species from a single sequencing library, without prior separation. The dual RNA-seq thus allows to identify host responses (sensitivity, resistance, immunity) as well as pathogen adaptation strategies during interaction.
- Small RNA-Seq
Capture the small RNAs involved in gene expression regulation
The small RNA-Seq allows the characterization of microRNAs (miRNA), piRNA, siRNA and other small RNAs from solid, liquid or extracellular vesicles (EV) samples. It is particularly used in epigenetic studies, biomarker research and cellular communication.
